President & CEO | Jon Morrish
Jon Morrish is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lehigh Hanson, Inc. Morrish has been with the company since 1999 and most recently served as the President of Lehigh Hanson’s South Region, a position he held since September 1, 2012. He also held the position of Managing Director of the Hanson cement business in the United Kingdom as well as Managing Director of Hanson Concrete. Morrish earned a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Leeds University.
Senior Vice President & CFO | Henner Böttcher
Henner Böttcher is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Lehigh Hanson., Inc. Böttcher joined HeidelbergCement in 2003 and has held a variety of management positions within the company’s Treasury and Finance departments. He previously served as Group Treasurer for HeidelbergCement, a position he held since 2006.
Before joining HeidelbergCement, Böttcher spent seven years at Deutsche Bank. He graduated in Business Administration at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
President, Canada Region | Chris Ward
Chris Ward is President of Lehigh Hanson’s Canada Region. He has been with the Company since 1996 and has held various management positions in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. Prior to his current position, Ward served as Vice President & General Manager of the company’s Southeast Aggregates operations. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in Mining Engineering.
President, North Region | Dennis Dolan
Dennis Dolan is President of Lehigh Hanson’s North Region. Dolan has held a variety of senior management and executive positions with the company over the years, including serving as President of Hanson’s Northeast Region. Prior to his current position, Dolan served as the company’s Senior Vice President & General Manager Materials for the North Region. Dolan is a licensed engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson College of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University.
President, West Region | Kari Saragusa
Kari Saragusa is President of Lehigh Hanson’s West Region. Saragusa has been with the company for more than 20 years. Prior to his promotion to his current position in 2010, Saragusa served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the company’s cement operations in the North.
President, South Region | Glenn Heller
Glenn Heller is President of Lehigh Hanson’s South Region. Heller joined the company in 1997 and has extensive experience in the construction materials industry. Over the years, Heller held a variety of senior management roles within the organization and prior to his most recent position as Vice President of Finance for the South Region, he served as Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis. Heller holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rider University.
Senior Vice President, Government Affairs, PR & Sustainability | Tom Chizmadia
Tom Chizmadia is Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, Public Relations & Sustainability for Lehigh Hanson, Inc. Chizmadia previously served as Vice President, Corporate Communications and Chief Communications Officer for BASF Corporation. Prior to joining BASF, he was Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs for Holcim’s U.S. operations. Chizmadia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Williams College and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Senior Vice President, Manufacturing & Engineering, and President of Heidelberg Technology Center | Arnaldo Bertola
Arnaldo Bertola is of Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering, and President of Heidelberg Technology Center (HTC) North America. Bertola previously served as Director of HTC Global Engineering. Prior to joining the company, Bertola was Director of Engineering and Projects for Essroc and also served as General Manager - Cement Sector for Fru-Con Bilfinger. He also held a variety of project management, technical and engineering roles with Buzzi Unicem in Italy, Mexico and the U.S. Bertola holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Turin, Italy.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources | R. Van Waldrop
R. Van Waldrop is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Lehigh Hanson, Inc. Waldrop has been with the company since 1998 and has held a variety of Human Resources and Safety positions. Waldrop is a Board Member of Cement Employers Association and past chair of National Stone Sand and Gravel association’s Human Resources Committee. Waldrop holds a Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations degree from Auburn University.
Vice President, Purchasing | Bob Ross
Bob Ross is Vice President of Purchasing for Lehigh Hanson, Inc. and Group Lead Buyer - Admixtures for HeidelbergCement. Ross was previously Director or Purchasing for Lehigh Cement Company. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana University and has completed the Summit Program through Duke Corporate Education.
Vice President & General Counsel | Carol Lowry
Carol Lowry is Vice President & General Counsel for Lehigh Hanson, Inc. Prior to joining the company, Lowry held the position of Vice President & General Counsel for Essroc. Previously she was Associate General Counsel at Carpenter Technology Corporation and also held attorney positions at FirstEnergy and Brouse McDowell. Lowry earned her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland and has a B.A. from Carlow University in Pittsburgh.
Vice President, Competence Center Materials | Ian Cross
Ian Cross is the Vice President, Competence Center Materials for Lehigh Hanons, Inc. Cross has more than 38 years of experience in the construction materials industry and has held a variety of operations management positions within the company. Originally from the U.K., Cross relocated to the U.S. in 2009 to serve as Director of Benchmarking for North America.
Cross is a Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying, and a member of several professional associations in the UK including the Institute of Asphalt Technology and the Institute of Explosives Engineers. He holds a diploma in Quarry Engineering from Doncaster College.
