About Campbell Concrete & Materials

In 1964, Campbell Ready Mix was established by Gene Campbell. Originally settled in the small town of Cleveland, Texas, Campbell Ready Mix started with one plant and quickly grew to one of the largest and most successful family-held businesses in Southeast Texas.

By 1996, after the purchase of additional smaller ready mix companies and plants, Campbell was running with 11 plants and 166 trucks. In early 1998, after forming a partnership with Pioneer International, Mr. Campbell sold his remaining portion to Texas-Lehigh Cement. Texas-Lehigh Cement, owners of Gulf Coast Concrete, merged the two companies together forming Campbell Concrete & Materials, L.P., becoming a leading source of concrete, aggregates and stabilized materials for the Greater Houston Area.

Today, Campbell Concrete & Materials is part of Lehigh Hanson, Inc., one of the largest construction materials companies in North America. Campbell operates 23 concrete plants strategically located throughout the greater Houston market and runs roughly 200 concrete trucks in its fleet. Campbell's nearly 300 dedicated employees are ready to help you with your concrete needs.
