About Hanson Aggregates Dry Fork Sand and Gravel

Hanson Aggregates Dry Fork Sand and Gravel been a trusted supplier of naturally-occurring sand and gravel products to the Cincinnati and Southern Ohio marketplace for more than 15 years. Many of our long-time customers may recognize the facility by the name of one of our flagship products – Bunnell sand – a fine-grade sand most commonly used in masonry and known for its consistent cleanliness as well as the absence of small rocks that are often found in other mason/mortar sands.

Excavated, dredged and pumped from a river bed on the facility’s property, sand and gravel products are smooth and rounded due to naturally-occurring erosion from the water above. The products are washed to remove clay and other by-products before being screened and sorted by particle size. Hanson Aggregates Dry Fork Sand and Gravel can produce several hundred tons of material per hour. Typical order sizes range from 20 to 30,000+ tons.
