A-1 LifelikeTM 3/8" Compost

A-1 Lifelike 3/8” Compost is a blend of horse bedding shavings and manure. This blend is then composted under strict standards of Title 14 of the California Integrated Waste Management Regulations. Our compost has been through pathogen reduction by composting at temperatures above 132 degrees Fahrenheit for up to six months with frequent turning. Our compost is shipped to a third party laboratory to ensure our product is below heavy metal and pathogen limits established by the CIWMB Title 14.

A-1 Bedding Mulch also has a combination of light and dark wood with some pine and eucalyptus which gives A-1 Bedding Mulch a nice fragrance. O.G.C/Walk on Bark is a blend of 1”-3” Shredded Douglas Fir & Pine Bark, containing some Cambium Wood (the inner layer next to the bark). O.G.C. has a rich, reddish brown color that naturally has a nice forest fragrance. O.G.C. is also referred to as “Walk on Bark” when used on pathways. 1/4” Coarse Fir Bark is a 1/8”-3/8” mixture consisting of Flat Screened Douglas Fir & Pine Bark Nuggets.
